3-PC Austrian Military Field Pack Set – OD – Used/Issued (Grade 1)

This Austrian 3-Piece (Main Ruck, Front/Day Pack, Straps) Rucksack set is a unique and affordable option for the field. The frameless main pack is a bit smaller overall (16" x 17" x 24") than a Large ALICE pack with 3 large exterior pockets (two sides: 3.5" x 10" x 6"; one center: 9.5" x 8" x 3"), two side equipment loops (for securing a blanket, axe, etc.), drawstring cinch on the main pocket, but no lid pocket like the ALICE. While pictured in the primary position on the front, the smaller pack is a perfect daypack/assault pack size (15" x 14" x 10") when swapped onto the detachable backpack straps. Also includes bedroll loops at the bottom and a drawstring cinch main compartment like the main ruck. The straps include an extra pair of buckles that are designed to clip on an ALICE LC-2-style pistol belt (not included) for some reason, though I would just tape those for a rainy day. Overall construction is premium and are all made of essentially the same bombproof nylon and metal buckles as the ALICE (yay NATO!), though to me the material feels like it might even be a little thicker.
